I love you you can adjust the rules to exactly how you play. The AI is very good, although not always perfect.

Great to have a Rook app up and running. Pleasant aesthetics and all. Single player had worked great for me but multiplayer has lots of issues. Mainly, the score changes randomly, the entire game resets randomly, and if those things are functioning normally you still have to completely exit the game in order to get the game updated. I like the ability to create my own rules, but would like more customization, specifically the ability to have lower numbers have the highest power, with the option to have the 1s still be high. We call it "least-ers". If it was a free app, Id give it a generous four stars and just ignore the issues, but having paid $4 (my wife and I) I think 3 stars is plenty and an expectation of improvements is justified.

I have to exit and reenter to take my turn when playing online. Other reviewers have mentioned this same problem over several months time, yet there have been no updates to fix it. I emailed the creator and got a canned response. The issue was not addressed. Dont waste your money on this app if you want to play online with your friends, its too frustrating.

Same loading issues still. Have to go out of game and back in to update the cards played. Other than that everything is great. Need an update!

Rook was one of the first card games I learned, and I grew up with my family playing it often. I dont live near my family currently and have missed playing it. This is a great alternative!!

If you like Rook, this is a great app. Completely customize for the cards you want to include. Stable, and fun.

Great game but multiplayer has a lot of issues

Amazing game. Would recommend. Will buy content just to support. Love the rule sets. Would like to see more (any) AI variation, and would live a shoot the moon option (ability to bet "take all tricks" for +300").

Our family loved playing this game, so it was exciting to find a digital version that would allow us to play each other now that we no longer live nearby. If youve played much Rook, you know there are a lot of variations in the rules, and this app lets you customize to every variation Ive ever seen.

Game locks up when played with friends. Only works if you play with computer! Waste of money to buy. Only wanted to play with my friends.

I like everything about the game except the bidding process in single player mode. I rarely see a hand taken for less than 85 points. Also, sometimes your partner will outbid you when you already have the bid at 85! Its pretty frustrating

Love the fact that I can play "Rook" with this app. The only reason I give it 3stars is that the computer partner is just AWFUL

Tired of the dumba"$-?& playing!!!!!

U can always bet that if the other team picks trumps and you throw down a 14 they never ever have that color and it gets trumped and if you throw out a 13 they always have the 14. Never fails.

My family has played this game since forever ago and its good to see that its an app now. Hopefully it wont disappear for a while! Rook is a really simple yet exciting game to play, I wish more people knew about it.

The game is excellent and plays well. The customizable rules ability makes it fun and helps me practice so that I can beat my friends. More free themes would be nice. PROBLEM: Online multiplayer games are crashing the app. It would also be nice if the computer would bid a little higher. They bid so conservatively it is almost impossible to set them.

My husband and I love this game. Its a great way to play with friends from other states. One request we have is to add the "rest our mine" button to multiplayer.

This game has lots of versatility with the rules and can be a lot of fun. However multiplayer mode crashes almost every time. If this was fixed it would be 5 stars.
