Too many stacked hands

The flexibility in setting rules is great, but too often it is obvious that the hands of partners are aligned with each other. Ive never seen so many 200 point hands in my life! And my partner seems to be less helpful to me than the other partners are to each other. Im taking of course about the individual game - it may be better on multiplayer.
